Silver & Gold Christmas

Silver and Gold Stars are timeless for Christmas Gift Wrapping. I created these tags to go beautifully with those packages that sparkle under the tree!

I started off just making the Silver Star Tag and had an extra cut out piece from the center of a silver star cut. I couldn't let that go to waist so I designed the combo Silver & Gold Tag for using the extra silver star cutout!

For the Silver Star Tag I used two different textured Silver cardstock. I tried a pattern I found on Cricut Design Space to draw with pen on the white star piece. I didn't have a silver Cricut Pen so I used a Grey Cricut Pen and I think it turned out beautiful! I like the detail that the drawing adds to the star! I layered the parts of the star with foam tape to make it really stand out 3D.

For the Silver & Gold Tag I used the leftover silver star from the first tag and then created gold pieces to layer with it. I had a small glitter star sticker that I used for the center, but if needed just cut out a small little star from the same gold cardstock as the other parts. I love the scroll cutout design of the back gold piece. For fun I added my favorite gold dot stickers (Hobby Lobby) for the points on the star to give it another nice detail! I used foam tape to make some of the layers 3D.

I like to make the signature part of the tag on the back side and designed it to be made with the Cricut and Cricut Pen. Instead of using a hole punch, I glue the ribbon between the layers.
