Creative Giftwrapping for Christmas

I love it when I find the perfect ribbon and paper that work so great together. When the paper is simple, it can be the perfect canvas for creating decorations that will stand out on the gift wrapping!

I love love love making bows, but I enjoy just as much coming up with creative ways to wrap gifts using decorations like these along with other ideas like flat ornaments. I started doing things like this when I needed to ship gifts and didn't want the bows to be crushed from being mailed. The solution to that problem opened up a whole new creative avenue for my gift wrapping!

I use hot glue to attach the decoration to the bow.

These decorations could also be made and used for gift tags by adding a place on the back to write "To:" and "From:"

I like shaping leaves and petals on flowers to make them have a 3D look. Using the gold stickers for the center of the Poinsettia is a nice detail and easy.

Using a scoring tool I made the details on the leaves stand out and was able to fold and shape them. The jewels on the berries make them stand out and finishes the look of the Holly decoration. So simple and beautiful!

I like this Santa decoration because you can put anything you want to be held by his hands. It would be really cute to wrap a gift card like a package and have Santa hold it!

If you would like to make these with your Cricut, you can find them on Cricut Design Space on my Cricut Profile Page. They are ready to make or edit as you like. Enjoy!
